NORTH DAKOTA

The trip to North Dakota was the longest leg so far - 400 miles and 8 hours. It started with a look at Sturgis the motorcycle capital of America were thousands (maybe may thousands) of people gather each year to admire each other as bike enthusiasts. The town had a lot of sources of beer and parking space.

We had wanted to also see the Badlands of North Dakota. The trip to there was long and interesting in its own way but was really miles of open grassland. We have, as I think I said, brought several Books on CD and his makes the miles go faster. The eateries and the mote we ended up in are clean and utilitarian. We are continuing to push to Canada to sightsee the lake area.

Tomorrow promises to be another loooong drive.
