JACKSON HOLE
 This was the longest day so far, almost ten hours. We started at Bozeman, a very well put together city. As with most of these cities it is laid out along a Main Street with a few businesses off to the side. But the city seemed more alive and put together. It was Sunday though and were had no chance to exercise our credit card.
We then drove to Yellowstone. Stopped at the entrance and had some more of that substance America feeds tourists. We have been there together before but it is still worth the trip. It was rivers, and lakes, and mountains. However, there is everywhere the scars of forest fires.
 Our hostess was anxious that we were arriving and so had to call us on the cell phone just as we got to Old Faithful. She and Carroll talked for fifteen minutes or so. The next eruption was an hour and a quarter later.
We passed through the Tetons and adjacent to the Park is the home we were staying at. It is right next to an airport (full of private jets). Our hostess had a guest house and so we moved in there for a couple of days. As "payment" for the lodging I installed a phone, a DSL connection, and a remote wireless camera system for the stables that were on the property.
 The next day we went to Jackson. The town is like a stage set of the old west. The stores cater to tourists, or outdoor sportsmen, or art enthusiasts.
